Shrimp tails with tomato

Ingredients for 4 people: 1 packet of shrimp tails 400g, 500g of ripe tomatoes, 1 medium sized onion, olive oil, 1 clove of garlic, parsley, salt and pepper.

Method of preparation

Defrost the tails under cold running water and clean them thoroughly.

Wash the tomatoes, remove the seeds, and purée them.

Chop onion and garlic very fine, put them in a saucepan with a few spoonfuls of oil and sauté over medium heat until the onion is slightly wilted.

Place the tails in the saucepan and cook on both sides for approx. 5 minutes; add tomatoes to the saucepan, salt and pepper, stir and continue cooking for about 5 minutes.

When cooked, add the washed and chopped parsley.

Arrange the tails and sauce on a serving plate and serve with toasted bread.
