Our headquarters in Monsummano Terme makes products with craftsmanship and safety guaranteed by cutting-edge technologies.

Our industrial process is increasingly sustainable and every year reduces waste, use of plastic, and exploitation of energy resources. Along with culinary research we have a strategy of large investments to improve our production efficiency and circularity, for increased sustainability.

In our in-house Quality Laboratory we carry out more than:

Health first and foremost: in recent years, molecular biology techniques have found increasingly wide application in the food sector. Which is why Arbi has installed a Real-Time PCR in its in-house laboratory, for the microbiological safety of raw ingredients and their products, to monitor cross-contamination of allergens on raw materials, finished products and production lines, to check for absence of genetically modified organisms and for the genetic identification of fish species to prevent counterfeiting and fraud on raw materials. This enables us to demonstrate the food safety of our products, in less time and with absolutely reliable results.

BRC (British Retail Consortium) - IFS (International Food Standard)

BRC and IFS are international certifications recognised by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative), and are the most important reference for large-scale distribution.
Both certificates are valid for one year and are issued after strict inspection audits. Arbi has obtained the higher level of certification for these standards.

MSC (Marine Stewardship Council)

MSC certifies that the fish is fished sustainably in accordance with the principles of the Chain of Custody programme. These are the main principles of the certification: sustainable fish stocks; enough fish left in the ocean for the indefinite survival of the species; fishing activities that maintain the structure, productivity, functionality and diversity of the marine ecosystem; overall efficient, responsible and lawful management that can respond quickly to changes.

ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council)

The Aquaculture Stewardship Council is an international organisation that aims to develop and manage a responsible aquaculture standard for certification of fish farms. The ASC chain of custody system guarantees the traceability of fish products along the entire chain of transformation, processing and distribution of the product.

FSSC 22000

This is an international certification for food safety based on ISO 22000 and ISO TS 22002-1 standards. It envisages setting up systems for risk analysis and management, standards of transparent, timely communications, recurring evaluations, and definition of management commitment.

ISO 9001

This certification is the world standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). It certifies the effectiveness, efficiency and adequacy of the rules and processes that define how the company produces, but also its management processes and customer care.

The Verdenergia certificate attests that 100% of electricity used comes from renewable sources.
It testifies the will to take on responsibility for the needs of the environment, minimising impact on the ecosystem.
