Oceanic OCTOPUS 90%, water, salt, acidity regulators: E330, E331, E500. Octopus spp. caught in the Western Indian Ocean FAO 51 with trawls. May contain CRUSTACEANS and FISH.

Preparation

THE CHEF RECOMMENDS

Stewed octopus in tomato sauce. Ingredients for 4 people: 1 bag of octopus (400g), 1 clove of garlic, 1/2 small onion, 250g peeled or fresh tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, parsley, chili pepper.

Defrost the octopuses. In a pan, heat the olive oil and add the chopped garlic and onion. Sauté over low heat. Add the octopuses and brown them.

Add the peeled or fresh tomatoes, crushing and stirring them well.

Cover the pan and cook over low heat for 40 minutes. If necessary, add a little water or broth. Halfway through cooking, season with salt, pepper, and chili pepper.
