Condiscoglio® Mediterranean Sauce
Mediterranean sauce with mussels, clams and shrimps
Arbi's Condiscoglio is a clever mix of mussels, clams, squid, shrimp and caramote prawns in a sauce with a rich taste that elevates the palate towards the highest summits of taste.
Condiscoglio is perfect for spaghetti and short pasta. It is also a treat for the eyes, as it contains shrimp tails and shell-on mussels and clams. It’s ready in 7 minutes and so easy, anyone can make it.
Method of preparation
Boil about 250 g of pasta in salted water (we recommend you use spaghetti).
Put the contents, still frozen, into a pre-heated frying pan. Cook over high heat for 3 minutes with the lid on, cook for another 4 minutes with the lid off, stirring often.
Drain the pasta cooked well “al dente” (2-3 minutes less than recommended on the pasta packet) and add to the sauce in the pan.
Stir for about 2 minutes, carefully mixing the sauce with the pasta.
Add chilli pepper for a spicier taste.
Excellent for making seafood risotto.
Boil about 230-250g of rice (we recommend Roma or Carnaroli).
Put the product, still frozen, in a saucepan and cook with lid on at moderate heat for about 3 minutes, stirring often Cook for about 4 minutes with lid off, continuing stirring.
Drain the rice 3-4 minutes before cooked and add sauce.
Toss for about 2 minutes, making sure rice and sauce are mixed well.
Turn off heat and finish the risotto with a knob of butter or a spoonful of oil.
